All for one …One for all…!

Dear Brother Riley,

We are in deeply concern of the situation facing by you and our brothers, dockworkers of ILA local 273, where the port employers in, Port of Saint John, New Brunswick are about to attack the pay and conditions of dockworkers in ILA local 273.

We are aware of your critical situation and, will give our full support, in this case, to our brothers in ILA local 273, as we are also organizing the dockworker’s union in Indonesia. We have shared your concerns and your situation to our brothers; Indonesia dockworkers to be aware, and to anticipate/Act in accordingly, hand and hand in this issue should you need our immediate responds and or, our assistance for backing you up on this important matter.

Again, on behalf of the entire members of the Indonesia Seafarer’s Union and the Indonesia Dockworker’s Union, we would like to extend our greatest support base on International solidarity to all our brothers at ILA local 273 whenever needed, as we also say here in Indonesia, “We boycott Union busters.”

In solidarity,

Yours Fraternally,

Hanafi Rustandi

President
Kesatuan Pelaut Indonesia
